Foodies rejoice, Urban Food Fortnight returns to the capital from 20 September to 7 October with a bevy of culinary delights to choose from.

Even the most discerning diners can expect to be spoilt for choice amidst this year's selection of pop-ups, collaborations and tasting menus. Never fear however, we’ve done the hard work for you.
Here are 10 not-to-be-missed dining highlights
20 September, E5
Michelin-trained Aidan Brooks will be returning to 119 Lower Clapton for his second annual supper club. Expect big flavours from his hyper-local, Hackney sourced, seven course tasting menu. BYOB.

Take a journey through the season with this four-course local menu, and make your own fermented cocktails while you’re at it… what’s not to like?

Head down to the Skip Garden in the heart of Kings Cross to enjoy a relaxed evening by the campfire with negronis, local beer, and pizza highlighting the best of the harvest.

If you like to learn while you eat, then join chef and author Rachel de Thample for an evening learning how to make easy, everyday ferments before tucking into a feast cooked by The Table’s Shaun Alpine-Crabtree.

Lady Ottoline’s head chef Tom Haste will be heading up this takeover at East London Liquor with a special 6 course meal filled with locally sourced ingredients, along with paired cocktails curated by the ELL skilled bar team.

Hosted by Third Space Canteen & Get Cooked, this is a chance to discuss issues around sustainable food with Kate Hofman of Grow Up Urban Farms, Jamie Borrows of Minicrops, and Sinead Fenton of Audacious Veg.

If you don’t know about it, you need to! Head over the The Doodle Bar for a feast of these tasty critters, served up with choice cuts from a live band.

Check out this series of street-food focused pop-ups across the fortnight with chefs from the likes of Smokin’ Lotus, Pastificio Mansi and Hanoi Ca Phai. Expect Bold flavours in a laid-back setting.
4 October, N22
Spend an evening in a North London oasis and former plant-nursery, is also home to a family of koi, while enjoying a seasonal vegetarian feast, based around produce grown on site and nearby.
5 October, N8
This all vegan supper club will incorporate local produce, low-waste cooking techniques, and bulk-bought ingredients.
Across UFF many more eateries will be offering menu specials. Lady Ottoline chef Tom Haste has devised a dish showcasing cured pork cheek from Cobble Lane Cured. Meanwhile, OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie will be serving up a British twist on a croque monsieur, cooked up using ingredients from London producers, and pairing it with a Hackney-brewed IPA.
