It’s not just the price: the hidden costs of accessing healthy food

Nésa joined Sustain in November 2025 as the Recipe for Change campaigns intern, working on public mobilisation through developing a citizen’s charter for healthy food.

Having studied Genetics at university and with a keen interest in diet, nutrition, and accessible food literacy, she hopes to make a change in the food industry and inspire others to do so. Her freelance work is heavily rooted in facilitation, community work, and empowering young people.
