Pig Revolution crowdfunder

Farms Not Factories, which campaigns against cheap meat from animal factories, has launched a crowdfunder to finance a film connecting chefs with high-welfare pig farmers.

Sustain member Farms Not Factories has run a number of high-profile campaigns to promote a Pig Revolution, which would see high-welfare pork and pig products replace meat from abusive pig factories.

It has now launched a crowdfunder to make a new film series that would connect well-known chefs and influential foodies with farmers who raise their pigs on high-welfare farms. The series would feature Mark Hix, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Amelia Freer, Jemima Jones and others. By using their knowledge of quality UK meat, they would demonstrate the value of choosing meat from happy, healthy pigs.
