Open meeting on family farming

The Family Farmers' Association holds its annual discussion event in February, where guest speakers and the public are invited to debate the future of small-scale farming in Britain.

Sustain member the Family Farmers' Association says that it fights for 'the survival of civilised farming on family farms'. Every year it hosts an open meeting, which next year takes place on 1st February, from 2pm-4pm, at Westminster Hall in London.

Helen Ghosh, Director of the National Trust, will speak on ‘How to manage the small farm problem’, and Professor Mark Lobley will discuss his research on small farms. The presentations will be followed by an open discussion. To reserve a place, contact pippafamilyfarmers@gmail.com, or send your name, organisation, address and email or phone to: Family Farmers' Association, Aveton Gifford, Kingsbridge TQ7 4PE.
