Rose Vouchers to tackle food poverty and support healthy eating

Sustain member Alexandra Rose Charities has launched The Rose Vouchers for Fruit and Veg project.

The project, being delivered in Hackney, Greenwich and Lambeth provides vouchers to parents on low incomes with young children. The vouchers can be used at local markets that sell fruit and vegetables. The charity say they are launching the project to tackle unhealthy diets in very young children who have little access to fresh fruit and vegetables. The project will also help to support local markets. See also Sustain's wider work on food poverty.
