Students wanted to organise campus farmers' markets

Abolish the myth that students live on Pot Noodles! Apply now for help to set up a market selling healthy, fresh, local  produce on your campus

Student Eats is a campaign that aims to put sustainable food at the heart of student life, and in the stomachs of university and college students. It is run by the National Union of Students with support from Sustain, Sustain member the Soil Association and the Plunkett Foundation.

The campaign works with students to develop growing sites and set up farmers' markets. In future, there will also be opportunities to set up veg bag schemes, make preserves -- or start other healthy-eating enterprises suggested by students.

Funding and resources are currently available to help with setting up farmers' markets, with applications open until 9 June.
