Call for good practice for report on out of home food

The Institute of Food Safety Integrity & Protection (TIFSIP) are requesting information on best practice and case studies in interventions designed to improve the out of home food environment for a new Public Health England toolkit.

TiFSiP, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), the Cities Institute at London Metropolitan University, and the Children’s Food Trust have been commissioned by Public Health England (PHE) to develop a new toolkit that will support local authorities and partners working to improve the local out of home food environment.

To help inform the content of the toolkit the project team are keen to collect details of emerging good practice either by local authorities or those working directly with several areas particulary targetting independent businesses such as markets, mobile food vans and catering/vending operations in leisure and children's centres.

For more information, see the website or email Leah Riley Brown at l.brown@tifsip.org.
