Eighty entries were received and it’s now up to people in the capital to try and read all about them.
Many awards are based purely on taste. As the Urban Food Awards were created to celebrate the good food practices and people behind the products, entrants were asked about how they do what they do and why they think people should vote for them.
Find out about the entries and vote now.
The three entries in each category with the most public votes will be shortlisted as finalists for the judges to decide the ultimate winners in early September.
Everyone who votes stands the chance of winning a pair of invitations to the exclusive #UrbanFoodAwards awards evening at Borough Market on 21 September.
The Urban Food Awards 2016 are run by the Mayor of London, London Food Link and Borough Market.
London Food Link: London Food Link brings together community food enterprises and projects that are working to make good food accessible to everyone in London to help create a healthy, sustainable and ethical food system for all.
