An advert criticising dairy practices for being 'inhumane' has been approved by the Advertising Standards Authority, despite complaints from the dairy industry.
The advert, from the pressure group Go Vegan World, said 'humane milk is a myth', and carried graphic descriptions of calves being separated from their mothers shortly after birth. Complainants argued that the claims were misleading, but were overruled by the ASA. Read more here.
