New research on food poverty in Scotland

A new study commissioned by NHS Health Scotland explores the prevalence and nature of food poverty and insecurity in Scotland. 

The authors of the study are concerned that more people are struggling to feed themselves and their families than food bank figures suggest. Some of these groups, such as families with young mothers as well as young adults are among the groups who are newly affected by food insecurity. See Sustain's work on Food Poverty
