News Real Bread Campaign

Published: Friday 24 January 2025

We plan to start running a series of articles by and about Real Bread bakeries that mill their own flour.

From microbakers with counter-top mills, to bakers on farms with an Astrié mill in the neighboring barn, we want to showcase the dough dealers who are getting fresh and wholesome with at least some of their flour.

We’d like to start with a short roundup of who’s doing what where around the UK and Ireland, and over time run longer features by and about MIY bakeries here and further afield.
