Study finds more than half UK food imported

New research shows that more than half our food and feed is imported. This has implications for international green house gas emissions and climate change. 

The research, published in the Journal of the Royal Society Interface, found that the UK was importing over 50% of its food but 64% of the green house gas emissions associated with this food production are located abroad. Find out  how you can eat more sustainably
