The Council for Protection of Rural England (CPRE) have produced the top ten reasons why people should buy (and eat!) local food, based on surveys with 1300 people across 12 towns.
This builds on an earlier resource Sustain member CPRE have created to help people find where they can buy local food, including links to food finder websites, farmers markets and farm shops.
