PAN to MPs: don't dilute the pesticide regulations

PAN UK, Britain's leading campaign group on pesticides, is asking for support in its campaign to safeguard the regulations that limit the use of harmful agrichemicals.

Sustain member Pesticide Action Network UK (PAN UK) fears that the UK's exit from the EU may lead to the dilution of hard-won Europe-wide restrictions on the use of dangerous pesticides. For example, new European controls on the probable carcinogen glyphosate and bee-toxic neonicotinoids are at risk.

PAN UK is calling on supporters to ask their MPs to oppose any weakening of the safety standards that protect  health and the environment in the UK. Join the campaign here.
