More EU countries opt to go GMO free

As the 3rd October deadline for registering approaches, more EU states have announced they will register to ban the cultivation of GM crops.

The Ecologist were following the story closely, with regular updates as more states announced their intention to register. As of the 1st of October at least 10 states had signed up, plus four regional administrations including Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
