Richard Lochhead MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Food, chose a Real Bread Campaign supporter bakery to launch a new £70m support scheme for Scottish food and drink businesses.
Richard Lochhead made his announcement at The Breadwinner Bakery in Edinburgh during Real Bread Week.
The Food Processing, Marketing and Co-operation (FPMC) scheme will offer grants to food and drinks enterprises in Scotland as part of the new Scottish Rural Development Programme (SRDP) 2014-2020, which is expected to receive formal EU approval shortly.
