Force-Fed: First Food Foundation Report

A new report concludes it is too difficult for a typical British family to choose a healthy diet.

New independent research organisation the Food Foundation published the report having analysed an average family's diet and typical shopping basket.  They called on the government to act by introducing a tax on sugary drinks, curb TV advertising of unhealthy foods, clarify planning policy on unhealthy eating-out establishments and set upper limits on high-risk nutrients in processed foods. Support Sustain's campaign to introduce a sugary drinks tax.
