Limited bursaries available to new micro producers.

The Guild of Fine Food is offering bursaries to give 50 micro producers the chance each to put one new product in front of the Great Taste Awards panel of judges for free. 

“Recognised by consumers and retailers as the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink accreditation scheme, Great Taste is an opportunity for your product to be assessed by chefs, buyers, food writers and retailers. No matter the accolade you receive, our rigorous process provides every entrant with impartial, honest feedback from industry experts.”

Who can apply?

The eligibility criteria for bursary applications are:

  • Your business is less than two years old.
  • Your business has a turnover of less than £100,000.
  • Your product is commercially available in the UK.
  • The product has not been entered into Great Taste Awards before.
  • You have not received a Great Taste Bursary before.

Bursary applications close on 14 January 2024 and the bursary winners will be announced on 2 February 2024.

General entry for the Great Taste Awards 2024 opens on 22 January.
