Jerome Flynn, who plays Bronn in the HBO series Game of Thrones, joined Farms not Factories, Friends of the Earth Northern Ireland and residents from Limavady (which is close to the proposed site of one of the pig farms) for a screening of Pig Business in Northern Ireland. The event on 3 December was hosted by Zac Goldsmith MP in the House of Commons. After the event Jerome recorded a powerful message about the proposed pig farms which you can watch here.

The proposed mega-farm at Limavady will produce 1.3 million tonnes of pig slurry every year. Friends of the Earth say that this will have dire implications for the environment of Northern Ireland, as well as animal welfare.
