New network to link ‘nature friendly farmers’

Sustainable farmers across the UK are now uniting together with the help of the RSPB.

The new Nature Friendly Farming Network (NFFN) will enable sustainable farmers and wildlife conservationists to share knowledge and to advocate for positive change to policy.

This exciting new association is launched with the help of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) who are members of Sustain.  The RSPB commissioned independent market research with a range of farmers in 2015. They explored various aspects of farming and wildlife conservation and what the future might hold. The overwhelming message was that there was a need for a platform for farmers to join up as advocates for wildlife friendly farming.

The Nature Friendly Farming Network is chaired by Martin Lines. It has developed its own manifesto and website and you can find them on Twitter at @NFFNUK.
