Sustain member the Soil Association marked World Soil Day with the release of an animated film to explain why soil is so crucial to life.
The Soil Association said 95% of our food comes from the soil and we need healthy soil to feed the world. Pointing out that every minute we lose the equivalent of 30 football pitches of fertile soil, the Soil Association are hoping to promote awareness and reverse soil degradation.
