'Point the Fish Finger' campaign - a new update

Since launching the campaign action only a week ago, asking some of the UK's biggest high street chains to come clean on their fish sourcing, we have paused the action due to swift responses from Bella Italia, Café Rouge and JD Wetherspoon in publishing their fish policies.

All three restaurant groups have published public sustainable fish policies, with significant detail on what fish they use, where it comes from and how it is caught.

This is the vital first step we were calling on from these businesses, and we will help them make sure that their commitments meet the tough standards in our Sustainable Fish Cities pledge, which has already been adopted by businesses serving over 500 million meals per year including the UK Government and all Welsh hospitals.

THANK YOU to all of you for sending emails, and thank you to Bella Italia, Café Rouge and JD Wetherspoon for responding to their customers in such a positive way.

We will keep you updated by posting here, and on twitter @FishCities or you can join our supporters list for updates.
