New guide explores on-farm agroecological training
The Agroecology Learning Collective, OrganicLea and The Landworkers' Alliance have produced a new publication exploring different models for offering certificated and accredited training, work placements and apprenticeships on farms.
The Agroecology Learning Collective, OrganicLea and The Landworkers' Alliance have produced a new publication, A Guide to On-Farm Agroecological Training. This document explores different models for offering certificated and accredited training, work placements and apprenticeships on farms. It covers different models for delivery, funding opportunities, case studies and hears from learners who have been part of these programmes.
In addition they are running an event in London on 23rd October to share further learning from the guide, provide updates on the work TALC are doing to develop Agroecological Academies, explore funding routes and delve deeper into emerging apprenticeship standards.
This event will be especially useful for farms and sites offering training, or those considering setting up training, but is open to anyone in the wider agroecology network - trainers, mentors, funders, and those simply curious about how the sector's training landscape is evolving.
