Supporting the local response

Working with the food partnerships and food poverty alliances in our Sustainable Food Places (SFP) and Food Power networks, we will help local authorities, Local Resilience Forums and emergency funders to identify what support they need and can offer – coordination, money, cost reductions and guidance on issues relating to enterprise support, continuity of supply and access to facilities such as community centres, markets, storage facilities and kitchens.

Covid-19 Digest

A compilation of some of the latest information, advice and guidance related to food supply and food for vulnerable people, as well as funding opportunities and examples of local action. Digests will be posted regularly and are based on input and discussion coming from our networks of food partnerships across the UK.

Weekly coordinator catch-up

Food Power and Sustainable Food Places are jointly hosting weekly online forums for food partnership coordinators to connect and share with each other, hear national updates on food-related issues, and feedback their on the ground experiences to national network coordinators and campaigners. They run every Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:30am. Register for the weekly Coordinator Catch Ups.
