Eden on prescription - Vounder Garden, a Space to Grow
Vounder Garden is a pilot horticultural therapy programme run by the Eden Project based in Cornwall. It uses horticulture and gardening to provide weekly sessions over a period of 12 months to support 12 individuals living with anxiety and depression.
By focusing on the practice of general horticulture, which includes the production of vegetables and the care and maintenance of ornamental plants, participants get to re-engage positively with certain areas of their life. This includes engaging in social situations, developing confidence, setting personal and professional goals and learning new skills.
