Stark message from Stockholm World Water Week

Delegates at Stockholm World Water Week have urged international governments to take water scarcity more seriously.

The conference urged international communities to start treating water as the scare commodity it is. They said there are stark implications for all countries due to growing water scarcity and climate change and governments need to think together about how we can all value water more highly. Sustain member the International Institute for Environment and Development (iied) attended the conference and wrote this report.
