Heather Hancock has been appointed as the Deputy Chair of the Food Standards Agency. She is expected to take up the post of Chair from April 1 2016.
Heather Hancock has worked in both the private and public sectors, having been Private Secretary to three Home Secretaries, Chief Executive of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority as well as a Managing Partner in the UK and Switzerland for Deloitte.
