In the run up to the UK general election on 4 July 2024, the Real Bread Campaign has published an open call to all political parties.
Update 22 May 2024: Rishi Sunak requested permission from the King to dissolve parliament and called a general election on 4 July. There will be no sitting MPs until after this election.
Rather than take the e-action below, please download and read the manifesto for points to raise when parliamentary candidates come knocking at your door, accost you on the high street, or if you attend their meetings.
Real Bread Campaign coordinator Chris Young said:
'Creating a future in which everyone in the UK has a chance to choose delicious, nutritious Real Bread is a team effort. While we, and the wider Real Bread movement, are working on parts of the puzzle, our Real Bread Manifesto lays out what we believe the next government can and should do.'
Real Bread Campaign: Finding and sharing ways to make bread better for us, our communities and planet.
