Scotland revises hospital food standards

Revised standards for Scottish hospital food are to be introduced later this year.

The new standards have been drawn up by NHS National Services Scotland and are currently out for consultation.  They update guidelines that were first introduced in 2008 and for the first time include a section on children's hospital food. This is in response to the Action for Sick Children Hospital Food Survey of 2014. Support Sustain's Campaign for Better Hospital Food.
