New figures predict increasing EU meat production following a meat export volumes increase of 29% in 2014.
The figures, published in a short-term outlook report from European Commission, show that despite a Russian import ban new markets are opening with, for example, EU beef exporting to Hong Kong, the Western Balkans and the Philippines.
