DEFRA has launched a review into the waste sector as part of the government's Cutting Red Tape programme to deliver £10 billion savings.
Resource Minister Rory Stewart called for evidence from those in the waste industry on barriers to growth and innovation saying the department had already saved almost £1million by removing requirements for businesses to create site waste management plans.
