Community wealth building is an increasingly common term in the world of food and farming, offering a model that can turn our current economic system on its head. This document, developed by members of the Food Learning Forum, outlines what community wealth building is and why it’s relevant to the food and farming world. Intended as a document to kick start discussion about how we support and adopt such a model in our movement, it describes a vision for food, farming and local communities if such a model was adopted, and the principle that will help get us there.

We’d welcome your views on the document so please get in touch. You can also watch our webinar on community wealth building to hear more about the model and how it is already being put into practice.
