Autumn Budget should be a public health budget

The UK’s Faculty of Public Health (FPH) believe that this year’s Autumn Budget is critical. The uncertainties around Brexit and how it will impact policy change on population health and health inequalities are set against cuts to key public health services.

The FPH (who are members of Sustain) have prioritised investment in public health and achieving a ‘healthy’ Brexit as their two key areas of focus, which they have set out in their Autumn Budget Representation.

This year’s Autumn Budget will be on Wednesday 22nd November.
