Opportunity for London good food producers

Grow or make good food in a London borough? The London Food Link team is looking for creators of delicious, ultra-local London produce to feature on this year’s Urban Food Fortnight suppliers list.

Whether you are a grower of fine veg, fruit, herbs or salads; beekeeper with hives of the golden stuff; Real Bread baker; artisan cheesemaker; microbrewer or small batch drink maker; or proper charcutier, please get in touch!

We are crafting a bespoke list of producers of the best of London’s local larder, which will be sent to the capital’s equally passionate sustainable eateries and retailers. Just remember, it’s got to be made in London and got to be good.

Clare Gilbert
Former Project Officer for the Capital Growth. Clare Gilbert has now left Sustain.

Clare worked on the Urban Food Fortnight project, set up in 2012 to support London’s food growing enterprises (Capital Growth), and which has since expanded to encompass many different forms of food production in London.

She is currently studying for her Masters in the Anthropology of Food at SOAS and her academic work focuses on short food chains and artisanal production.

Clare has previously volunteered at several Community Food Growing Projects including Vertical Veg, Food From the Sky and Hulme Community Garden Centre in Manchester.
