Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust comes under increasing pressure from local campaigners to halt its planned closure of hospital kitchens.
Campaigners have handed in a petition to the Trust in opposition to the kitchen closures and it has also been revealed that:
- 7 out of 10 local people oppose the kitchen closures
- 7 out of 10 local people want the Trust to consult patients and local members of the public before taking a decision about the closures, and
- the closure of the kitchens will save £300,000 a year, equivalent to only 0.1% of the Trust's budget
