Food: All Things Considered is a new report by the Food Ethics Council reflecting on eight years of meetings of their Business Forum, which brings together senior food business leaders.
The report analyses the trends and tensions that have been discussed at Business Forum meetings and have come up with three key levers that could drive badly needed change in the food system. A radical shake up of how the market operates - moving away from a simple growth model; the adoption of completely new business models, moving businesses towards sustainabilty; and thirdly strengthening government support for a long term food policy.
