Donations of land wanted

A campaign asks landowners to donate sites which will be protected for ecological agriculture forever. The scheme, run by the Ecological Land Cooperative, will also create new affordable small holdings for new entrants into farming.

The Land Donation Campaign asks landowners to donate plots that are:

  • 20 acres or more (or near to one of our existing sites)
  • Have good vehicle access
  • Aspect is South/East/West facing
  • Altitude is below 200 metres.

In return the Ecological Land Cooperative will create affordable, low impact smallholdings which will be protected for ecological agriculture in perpetuity.
