Opportunity to learn more about permaculture in Scotland

Group visits to demonstration centres are available via Permaculture Scotland, with the aim of giving people who are experienceing social or economic disadvantage a chance to learn about permaculture in practice.

The ScotlLAND project is a Scotland-wide network of permaculture Learning And Network Demonstration (LAND) Centres. It aims to demonstrate practical examples of permaculture design in various different locations, micro-climate, and cultures throughout Scotland.

From now until 20 May, Permaculture Scotland (sister organisation of Sustain member the Permaculture Association) is offering group visits to ScotlLAND centres, specifically aimed at groups experiencing social or economic disadvantage who would like the opportunity to learn more about permaculture in practice, meet new people and gain new skills. If your group meets the criteria, a grant of £150 may be available to help towards transport or other costs. Groups must have a minimum of 12 people. More details on the website here.
