A new FACE for LEAF

A planned merger between two like-minded organisations will help teach more children and adults about where their food comes from, and the benefits of sustainable farming.

Sustain member LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) has announced plans to merge with FACE (Farming & Countryside Education). The two organisations have similar interests and remits, and in the past have worked together on projects such as Countryside Classroom and LEAF’s Open Farm School Days. The merger will allow them to pool resources and combine their scope and coverage. If legalities can be dealt with, the merger is planned for later in the summer.
