Working collaboratively with and encouraging London boroughs to address food poverty beyond the food bank.
What we do
We publish an annual food poverty profile called Beyond the Food Bank, which provides a comprehensive picture of how much London boroughs are doing to tackle the root causes of household food insecurity and reduce long-term food poverty. In 2021, we will be combining Beyond the Food Bank report with Good Food for London and publishing our joint report Good Food for All Londoners. This is in collaboration with the wider work of London Food Link.
We also carry out a programme of work focusing on specific issues within the report, working with a wide range of partners. This includes work promoting Healthy Start, championing free school meals, highlighting good practice in meals on wheels provision and supporting areas to develop food poverty action plans and food partnerships.

The London Food Poverty Campaign is a London Food Link project
London Food Link is the umbrella for all of Sustain's initiatives in London. Our work includes helping to influence local government policy, hands-on food growing training, running sessions for public sector caterers, creating guidance for independent eateries and food producers, public awareness campaigns, and joining the dots between people around specific food issues. The London Food Poverty Campaign is conducted with funding from Trust For London.
