Grow More Growers has launched a demonstration pilot matching landholders with new-entrant growers to provide new opportunities and support in nature-friendly, agroecological farming.

During the pilot, growers can access:

  • Up to 3 acres of land to farm
  • A basic income of £1,000 per month
  • Agroecological training and ongoing support
  • A start-up grant for infrastructure
  • Access to a shared library of tools
  • A peer-to-peer network

To take part, you must:

  • Live in Buckinghamshire or East Oxfordshire, or be willing to relocate
  • Be a new-entrant grower (under 10 years in horticulture, or under 5 years running your own market garden/veg enterprise)
  • Want to build a viable local veg enterprise using agroecological, nature-friendly methods
  • Be able to commit for the full pilot (April 2026 – March 2029)
  • Be willing to take part in check-ins, contribute to a positive working relationship with your landholder, and participate in the pilot’s learning and research

A thorough, person-centred matching process between growers and landholders will take place. Successful applicants will be matched with land from April 2026, and the pilot runs until March 2029.

For anyone interested in applying, you can submit an application form by 7pm on Friday 6 February.

Or if you're interested but want to find out more, check out:

There is also a webinar recording Q&A and walkthrough of the application process available, and visits to Bucksum Farm on Sat 31 January and Wed 4 February.
Register your interest (webinar or farm visit) via this form.
