As part of Sustain's Fringe Farming project, the event 'Farming Sheffield's Fringe: developing peri-urban agroecological food production around Sheffield and beyond' will be held on the 7th July, 9.30am-2pm.

ShefFood will be hosting the event to share new collaborative research made with Shared Assets and Sustain - on developing peri-urban farming in Sheffield's city fringes with a regional perspective - and to develop an action plan to make this vision happen.

The programme features expert speakers, from both local and national organisations - including Green New Deal South Yorkshire - and interactive discussions to explore central themes and to develop practical steps to take ideas forward.

The format of the event is most likely to be online for attendees in light of recent government announcements on Covid-19.

Sign up here to book your place, receive updates on the event format, and to receive the pre-event briefing.
