Food Foundation report 'Plating Up Progress' looks at how investors, businesses and governments can build towards a healthier, more sustainable food industry post-pandemic

Latest report by Sustain member maps the current commitments, targets and performance reporting of 11 major UK supermarkets and 15 major UK-operating caterers, quick service and casual dining restaurant chains.

Food Foundation's latest report Plating Up Progress 2020: pathways for a healthy, just and sustainable food system amid a global pandemic is intended for investors, food businesses and policy makers. 

It maps the current commitments, targets and performance reporting of 11 major UK supermarkets and 15 major UK-operating caterers, quick service and casual dining restaurant chains. 

This ground breaking report is based on the Plating Up Progress dashboard here and includes commentary from supermarkets, the out of home sector, institutional investors, and the World Benchmarking Alliance. The analysis is based on information in the public domain, using existing benchmarks, corporate reports and websites, with a fact-checking period provided for each company.
