Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) launch film to showcase vital work of Environmental Health Practitioners

Sustain member CIEH release new video as part of ongoing #ChooseEnvironmentalHealth campaign to highlight vital community work that supports vulnerable people.

A new short documentary-style film is released March 1 by Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) as part of its ongoing #ChooseEnvironmentalHealth campaign.

The film forms part of a case study of one of their members, Francesca Bell MCIEH, who works for City of Lincoln Council as a Public Protection, Anti-Social Behaviour and Licensing Service Manager. It showcases the vital work that Francesca and the Lincoln Intervention Team do, in conjunction with a number of other professions, to support vulnerable people in the community. This includes those sleeping rough and those suffering from personal issues such as addiction and mental health.

The #ChooseEnvironmentalHealth campaign has been running since 26 September 2020 (World Environmental Health Day), and its aim is to celebrate the role of Environmental Health Practitioners (EHPs) and raise awareness of environmental health as a rewarding career choice.
