Recipe for Change is a campaign calling for a new industry levy to help make our food healthier, while raising revenue that can be invested back into children’s health. This policy briefing, published by Sustainable and Healthy Food Systems and Recipe for Change in March 2024, explores the impact on both health and the environment of consumers substituting frequently consumed foods for lower salt and sugar alternatives, based on the National Food Strategy’s recommendations.
