These case studies highlight a range of community-led food initiatives working to address food insecurity, reduce reliance on food banks and build up community food infrastructure across the UK.

This includes a range of models from mobile greengrocers, to community vegbags, to co-desgned community kitchens to food banks transitioning to offer holistic advice and support services.

They feature a range of local actors including local authorities, food partnerships, housing associations, voluntary and charity sector organisations and the food projects themselves.
