Saving seeds is a great way to select plants that work well in your garden, becoming a well rounded gardener while becoming more self-sufficient in the face of climate change and playing your part in the food sovereignty movement. It’s also lots of fun!
To successfully save seeds and (re)grow your favourite vegetables, you need to understand how plants reproduce, why, and how their biology impacts how you successfully save seeds. We’ll go through all the technical basics you need to start saving seeds, as well as practical steps to start saving seeds this year.
