Join us in The Regent’s Park Allotment Garden to discover the beautiful botany and fascinating ecology of some of our most overlooked wild species, the ‘weeds’.

Our relationship to these wild plants has changed throughout history. What place do weeds have in our urban parks, gardens and allotments, and what lessons can we learn from them?

Participants will enjoy a hands-on identification activity exploring common garden plants, followed by a freshly made herbal tea or a taste of historic Dandelion 'coffee'. Topics covered will include historical uses, edibility, benefits to wildlife and soil health, and climate resilient futures.

The session will last up to 2 hours and includes an introduction to Help Nature Thrive’s new ‘Wonderful Weeds’ allotment bed.

Please contact us if you have any accessibility requirements so that we can make sure the session will provide you with the best experience.
