Around the UK, local food systems are helping to create thriving town centres, stronger local economies and fresher, more delicious food that increases our national food security. But local systems face enormous structural challenges in scaling up and out. Over the last two years, five partner organsiations have consulted over 500 supply chain actors to find out what we really need in order to grow the local food sector.
The results are published in the Local Food Growth Plan.
Join as we share insights on the critical actions needed to scale the sector and what this means national, regional and local governments, for retail and for the sector itself.
