Volatile food prices on the high street; increasing pressure on farmers and growers; rising food-related ill health and growing food insecurity all point to the same conclusion: our food system isn’t working, and it will not improve without concerted action from central government. We need a new law that would ensure food and nutrition security for citizens across England.
To mark the launch of the campaign calling for a Good Food Bill, Sustain, The Food Foundation and Green Alliance are hosting a members-only webinar for organisations in the Food Strategy Alliances.
We will hear from Kath Dalmeny, Chief Executive of Sustain; Dr Hannah Brinsden, Head of Policy at The Food Foundation; and Sam Chetan-Welsh, Senior Political Advisor at Green Alliance.
This will be followed by a Q&A session with attendees.
